Steroids Hall of Fame can help generate funds for MLB
Steroid reports have been relentlessly plaguing Major League Baseball nowadays. Players caught or admitted using steroids are increasing in numbers. Spotlight turns from one player to another.
Instead of looking at the dark side, MLB officials are planning to start a Steroid Hall of Fame to capitalize on the current steroid issues.
According to a reliable source, the hall of fame will be patterned after the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
Among those included in the list of initial steroids hall of famers are Mark McGwire, also known as the Big Mac; Gary Sheffield; Alex Rodriguez or A-Rod; Ken Caminiti; Lenny Dykstra; Jose Canseco; Barry Bonds; Rafael Palmiero and Roger Clemens.
Super-sized busts of players with exaggerating muscles rippling will be displayed, coupled with several mementos and memorabilia.
Actual syringes used by players will be displayed. Samples of the “clear” and the “cream” will also be displayed, wherein customers may have the freedom to try the cream by rubbing it on them. The hall of fame will also include a shriveled testicle of a very famous baseball player whose identity remained secret.
From the Huffington Post:
Critics claim that Major League Baseball willfully turned a blind eye to the use of steroids, because of the unprecedented growth in popularity and profits due to suddenly gigantic ballplayers hitting ridiculous amounts of home runs.
