Chiropractic clinics selling anabolic steroids, HGH and PEDs
Revolution Medical Centers, two clinics owned by Dr. Jeremy Mula, licensed chiropractic doctor in Phoenix, Arizona, were found to sell anabolic steroids, human growth hormone and other performance-enhancing drugs.
The case was first discovered by ABC 15, after the station conducted an undercover interview with Dr. Bula.
The station obtained hidden camera footage of the interview, which was held last year.
In the interview held in April 2008, the doctor was caught on-cam, talking about his two clinics, money, medical insurance and improving muscle mass.
The Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners suspended Bula’s license and requested a copy of the said video from ABC 15. This video was supposed to be an evidence for the said case.
It was learned that shortly after the interview was conducted, one of the doctors prescribed anabolic steroids, human growth hormones and other performance enhancing drugs totaling to more than $2,000.
Follow-up reports done by the station, uncovered several patient deaths. A suicide note was left behind by one patient, pleading in general to stop using steroids because it can destroy your life and the lives of those around you.
